Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies is looking for selfstarting teamoriented FullStack Application Software Engineers to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team working on largescale enterprise application systems for Space Domain purposes using web technologies distributed computation as well as sophisticated cloud technologies frameworks and cuttingedge domain analytics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of software development and integration team focused on missionunique software to be developed and integrated with existing and new cuttingedge capabilities.
Essential Functions:
- The Software engineer will provide support via industrys best practices including Agile methodologies for the government system.
- The Software Engineer will provide mission application and framework development support.
- The Software Engineer participates in a development team that uses modern DevSecOps software practices and a technologysupported development infrastructure.
- The Software Engineer will help maintain and develop new capabilities to the deployed system diagnose and resolve issues and provide support to endusers as needed.
- The ideal candidate will have the technical talent and desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies.
- The ideal candidate will provide onthejob mentoring to junior engineers as needed.
Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with consent to CI Poly
- Bachelors degree in computer science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Information Systems or a related discipline and minimum 6 9years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 5 7years of prior software experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 10 13years of prior software experience.
- Experience with Java JEE object oriented programming
- Experience with JavaScript Vue.js framework
- Experience with Spring Boot framework
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)
- Experience with Microservices
- Experiene with Agile Software Development Processs and Methodologies (SAFe Scrum or Kanban)
Preferred Qualifications:
- CI Poly
- Security Certification
- Experience with SAFe Agile
- Experience with C and/or Python programming languages
- Experience with containerization technologies: Docker Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or GovCloud
- Experience with FrontEnd web development React Angular TypeScript CSS SCSS or HTML
- Experience with unit testing
- Experience with integration and development tools including AWS Docker Bitbucket and Jenkins
- Knowledge of REST APIs
- Experience in the Space Domain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Colorado and New York State is$112500 $209500 and Virginia area is $129500 $240500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
