The Opportunity:
The Nursing Supervisor while on duty has the authority responsibility and accountability for clinical and operational outcomes on all assigned Nursing Home units during the PM hours. Collaborates with designated unit staff to assure consistent safe and efficient delivery of quality care and serves as a resource for conflict resolution and decision making within established guidelines and regulatory standards.
Starting pay ranges from $39.53$43.04 per hour based on education and experience.

What Youll Do:
- Coordinates resident care by implementing reviewing and revising care plans as needed. Renders direct care to residents as required.
- Assures the clinical and personnel supervision to maintain the highest quality of care of the residents including weekends and holidays. In collaboration with the Director of Nursing provides direction to nurses on all shifts in regard to managerial and clinical issues.
- Assures each resident is assessed where problem/concern voiced for possible change of condition.
- Assists with scheduling needs and filling open holes related to call ins.
- Ensures significant changes of condition are communicated to physicians residents and responsible parties.
- Ensures necessary documentation/forms completed.
- Assists with orders and documentation for new admissions.
- Participates in the formulation of facility and departmental policies and procedures and ensures unit is consistent with policies and procedures of rest of facility.
- Ensures regulatory compliance
- Comply with all laws and regulations applicable to position and act in accordance with the facility Corporate Compliance Plan.
- Ensures maintenance of timely accurate documentation as required by State and Federal law/ regulations and facility policy/procedure.
- Keeps staff informed and updated on changes in residents and other concerns.
- Notifies the Administrator and Director of Nursing with significant events.
- Ensures staff competencies and necessary resources are provided to complete job responsibilities.
- Responds immediately and calmly to all crisis situations assuring appropriate action intervention and follow up care is provided. Responds to all calls for assistance.
- Collaborate with Nurse and Program Manager(s) to assure consistent delivery of quality care professional standards of practice and adequate staffing over the 24hour day. Provides direct resident care as evidenced by unit staff/need.
- Ability to use a computerbased system for data entry planning and documenting care
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including attention to detail compassion listening empathy patience cooperation and dependability
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks while being safety oriented
- Maintains regular and predictable onsite attendance.
What You Bring:
Required:
- Minimum of one to three years progressively responsible nursing experience
- Current BLS (CPR) Certification
- Current Professional Nurse Registration from the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing earned at an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of Seven years of progressively responsible nursing experience
- 13 years of supervisory nursing experience
