Summary
The position of Project Manager is a skilled role in which the Project Manager provides the overall onsite administrative and technical management for a Commercial Glazing project while ensuring the total constructive efforts are in accordance with the plans and specifications and are communicated to all parties involved.

A Day in the Life
Complete responsibility for assigned project from start to finish.
Work with Superintendent to preplan the of project and develop project schedule.
Manage contracts develop and ensure that contract language matches prepared estimates.
Prepare project binder for Superintendent and Foreman that contains project information scope of work budgets safety plans etc.
Produce manage and track the project submittals
Perform material takeoffs
Write RFIs and coordinate communication between the client and the Company
Participate in jobsite walks and meetings with clients and Superintendents prior to project start to address site conditions
Document track and create change orders to ensure payment for all extra work.
Negotiate change orders with clients
Track and manage costs on projects; achieve budgeted profit margins
Update and maintain an accurate project forecast
What you bring:
Degree in Construction Management or equivalent; or 35 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Bluebeam and MS office package including MS Project
Strong leadership qualities
Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
Strong Communication and organizational skills
Strong blueprint reading skills
Big picture thinking with excellent negotiation skills
Highly motivated with strong organizational analytical problem solving and decisionmaking abilities
Selfstarting and selfmotivating with a desire to grow and improve the environment around them
Proactive in looking at the environment and finding a path forward to situations
Customer minded individuals with the ability to manage and maintain Flynn interests
