Job Description

Anticipated K8 Special Educator (Charlotte Central School)
0.50 FTE Permanent

School Year

CVSD is seeking an innovative and collaborative special education professional to join our Charlotte Central School community. CVSD is seeking an educator with demonstrated leadership organization and problemsolving skills who shares our passion for inclusive education. The ideal candidate will have experience working on collaborative teams including working closely with classroom teachers to codesign instruction. Candidates should indicate in their cover letter any specific expertise or experience they bring to their work including (but not limited to): literacy or math expertise coteaching lowincidence disabilities/intensive needs and working with learners who have social/emotional/behavioral challenges.

Masters degree or equivalent in Special Education plus relevant experience in providing special education services is preferred but candidates with different backgrounds who may be eligible for licensure are encouraged to apply.
