Pupil and School Support Assistant Team Lead

Permanent

Grade: Teachers Leadership Group L8 59167 L(Consultation grade subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review)

Working 32.5 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and solution focused Assistant Team Lead. The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with experience of leading others in the area of special educational needs. As part of this role you will be involved in leading and developing the Pupil and School Support Team as well as supporting educational settings to evaluate and develop their practice at a strategic level. In addition to this you will contribute to the development of SEND across the city as part of the SEND and AP improvement plan.

The Pupil and School Support team work with other SEND teams across the city in educational settings to support meeting the needs of children with cognition learning and language difficulties including those with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia.
