Job Description
First impressions are everything! As a Front Desk Agent at Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire you will take care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure by ensuring they have a memorable experience with us.
Please note: The start date for this role will be between End of April to MidMay with an end date of October 28th.
What you will be doing:
- Greet and respond to guest requests while providing exceptional service
- Responsible for checkin/out process collecting payment and settling accounts as per standards as well as taking and entering A La Carte food & beverage orders
- Take initiative to add a personalized experience
- Proudly promote the hotel facilities looking for opportunities to enhance a guests stay through upselling
- Follow all hotel and departmental policies and procedures as well as health & safety protocols
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Service focused personality is essential; previous experience in a hotel or similar setting is required and previous experience working at the Front Desk is preferred
- Computer literate with strong abilities in Microsoft Office is required and prior experience working with a property management system Lightspeed or a related system is preferred
- Fluency in English with both verbal and written communication; additional languages are a plus
- Ability to work a variety of shifts and days of the week including overnights
