Visa Inc. North America Marketing & Communications is searching for a sharp ambitious and enthusiastic media expert with strong leadership skills. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work with crossfunctional leads to develop and implement multichannel media plans with a focus on dataled signal based digital media. This position will work across key US initiatives (i.e. Brand Paid Social eComm Cross Border NFL Olympics FIFA World Cup Product B2B) to execute media plans developed to deliver on marketing KPIs and critical business objectives.
US Media Coordinate with initiative stakeholders to develop resultsbased media plans and lead plan
Leadership Act as a media subject matter expert guiding marketing team through media needs educating marketing organization on media (especially digital) and representing Visas media expertise with external partners and clients
Sponsorship Support marketing leadership in development of sponsorship media commitment evaluation (MROI Reach/Frequency industry trends etc. and negotiation
Agency Management Lead media process with agency teams (lead media strategy agency and digital agency) including briefing plan review/refinement measurement plan optimization budget management and reporting
Technology and Data Partner with the Marketing Technology Team product leads and data partners to bridge and build new opportunities for further media efficiencies sophisticated measurement attribution and increased performance
Finance Manage media budgets across marketing campaigns and work with the finance team to ensure all paid media dollars are accounted for and accurate
Measurement Partner with analytics research and measurement teams to measure the impact of media strategy and optimizations understand plan performance and evangelize results to corporatewide stakeholders
Optimization Proactively provide ongoing recommendations to optimize test and learn
Relationships Establish productive relationships with key partners and subject matter experts within and beyond Visa spanning Creative Brand Finance Legal Measurement Research Analytics global Centers of Excellence (COEs) and agencies

Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 810 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD
Hands on experience delivering implementing and gaining approval and adoption of strategic media plans from brief to plan to learning agenda to optimization to postcampaign reporting.
Extensive experience in digital media (including social media and programmatic buying) and traditional/offline media
Digital mindset sets and measures quantifiable goals learns and continually optimizes approach
Experience driving B2B and B2C on and offline campaigns and partnerships that delivered on both brand and direct response goals
The right person is selfdriven and independent. A hand raiser building relationships and chasing opportunities within and beyond the job description but knows great teams are better than allstar players trying to carry the load alone
Clear track record of collaboration and consensus building with multidisciplined teams
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment selfmotivated selfmanaged with a sense of urgency and can do attitude
Outstanding verbal and written communications with ability to communicate with a diverse audience including executives business product technology finance stakeholders
Proven ability to lead a portfolio of programs and initiatives endtoend to meet commitments with a strong work ethic a detailsoriented approach and a customercentric perspective.
Adept strategic thinker problem solver and pragmatist

Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $169100 to $220000 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
