Apt Resources is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Poultry Farm Animal Keeper Head in Oman. This role involves overseeing cleanliness and sanitation across the farm office spaces and staff accommodations with a strong emphasis on animal care and maintaining a healthy hygienic environment. Key responsibilities include ensuring facility upkeep enforcing health and safety standards managing housekeeping staff coordinating cleaning schedules and handling essential administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Implement cleaning schedules oversee waste removal ensure clean bedding and collaborate with veterinarians to maintain sterile environments for animals; oversee animal hygiene and care through strict protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of all facilities monitor cleaning equipment and manage waste disposal per regulations.
- Supervise staff assign tasks conduct inspections and implement cleaning protocols and KPIs.
- Ensures a clean and healthy environment across the farm office spaces and staff accommodations.
- Enforce hygiene protocols maintain records and collaborate on cleanliness policies.
- Monitor supplies coordinate restocking and address shortages efficiently while handling administrative and operational tasks to ensure seamless farm operations.
Requirements
- Must have a certificate or diploma in housekeeping sanitation or a related field. Certification in animal housekeeping sanitation animal husbandry or ISO 22000 is a plus.
- Candidates must have 8 years of experience in farm operations focusing on animal care hygiene and cleaning preferably in East European or Western countries. Proven supervisory experience in managing teams in farm or similar environments is essential along with expertise in overseeing housekeeping operations for largescale farms or agricultural facilities
- Demonstrated leadership organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to guide teams effectively.
- Expertise in animal hygiene biosecurity measures and sanitation protocols.
- Strong decisionmaking abilities under pressure excellent communication skills basic computer proficiency and a professional dependable and teamoriented attitude.
Benefits
Salary Package: Between Rial Omani) RO. 1500 to RO. 2000 (tax free) plus accommodation and other benefits.
