About the role
NSW Public Works has an opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join the North Coast Team. Offices are in Lismore Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. Please nominate your preferred location on your application.
The Procurement Officer is a member of the Construction Procurement and Social Benefits Team which provides construction procurement advice and services to clients including unaccredited Agencies. The role will provide procurement expertise and assist stakeholders to plan source and manage procurement arrangement in line with NSW Government Policy and NSW Public Works procedures to effectively meet organisational and business objectives.
Act as the Champion for NSW Public Works in reviewing Contracts to ensure accuracy and alignment with NSW Government policy and financial and standardisation processes.
Provide reports analyses and advise on a regular basis to support procurement decision making.
The role provides an exciting change to drive procurement compliance across NSW Public Works through the promotion and education of the NSW Government policy.
