As the prime integrator of the National Space Test & Training Range Orbital (NSTTCO) for the United States Space Force L3Harris is looking for a candidate to develop and sustain the Range Control Software (RCS) integration environment as part of a cross functional DevSecOps team. L3Harris is seeking professionals to work in a dynamic environment to solve challenging technical problems. Individuals will perform RCS system automation design development implementation test configuration management sustainment and customer support. The ideal candidate should have experience with the full software development lifecycle and cloudbased infrastructure automation using Ansible. This position is onsite located in Colorado Springs CO and requires a TopSecret Security Clearance.

Essential Functions:

• Working under general oversight provide solutions with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.
• Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including basic services such as EC2 S3 AMIs and Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs).
• Strong Experience with infrastructureascode (IAC) using Ansible and/or Puppet.
• Design develop and test software applications for largescale operational systems.
• Responsible for providing guidance coaching and training to other employees within job area.
• Work consists of making moderate to substantial improvement or enhancements to systems and processes to improve performance of job area.
• Communicates within and outside of own function or business area and has responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization.
• Work with DevOps team to design and deploy Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines in hybrid virtual machine and Kubernetes environments.
• Deliver automation to provision and deploy complex systems in commercial and private clouds.
• Utilize software languages such as Python Ruby and Groovy to accomplish automation customization.
• Utilize mixture of Windows and Linux environments.
• Documentoperations and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Active U.S. DoD Top Secret or TS/SCI Security clearance.
• 4 years experience of Amazon Web Services (AWS) including basic services such as EC2 S3 AMIs and VPCs.
• Experience with system compliance requirements implementation per Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Experience with infrastructureascode (IAC) using Ansible and/or Puppet.
• Experience using opensource container platforms such Kubernetes/Docker or Others.
• Experience scripting in PowerShell or Python to perform common tasks that aid in building of automation.
• Experience with Agile software development and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience utilizing team collaboration tools (Confluence Jira Git).
• Experience developing and deploying software using a CI/CD pipeline.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with OpenStack Platform (OSP) Nova management.
• Amazon Web Services Certification.
• Microsoft System Administrator (MCSA) Certification.
• CompTIA Security or better certification.
• Experience working in Kubernetes environments.
• Experience working with an Agile software development team with regular release cycles.
• Familiarity with creating CI/CD process flows such as Jenkins or GitlabCI Pipelines.
• Familiarity with Platform One tools (Jira Mattermost Confluence GitLab Jenkins etc..
• Experience in a DevSecOps environment.
• Excellent communication skills (written verbal & presentation).

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role is $83000 $154000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
