Job Description

Tier 1 IT Support Technician MSP
Location: Cape Town South Africa
Salary: R10000 R12000 CTC per month (depending on experience)
Employment Type: FullTime

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Tier 1 IT Support Technician with experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. This role serves as the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting Windows and Mac systems handling basic IT support requests and ensuring quick resolutions to maintain seamless business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone email or ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues including password resets software installations and network connectivity problems.
  • Provide remote and onsite technical support for Windows and Mac systems.
  • Document issues and solutions in the IT support system.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to highertier support teams when necessary.


Requirements

  • Experience working at an MSP (Mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
  • Basic understanding of software installations and system configurations.
  • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient and friendly customer support.
