Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive you will be at the forefront of driving growth by acquiring new clients and delivering innovative supply chain solutions. Reporting to the Business Development Manager you will focus on attracting new customers. We are targeting significant growth and in this position you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious plan.

Key responsibilities

Develop business with new customers

  • Identify qualify and secure new business opportunities focusing on largescale complex supply chain solutions.
  • Develop customized value propositions tailored to the unique needs of target clients.
  • Drive the entire sales process from prospecting to contract closure ensuring revenue and margin targets are met.

Pre and postsales responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design robust and scalable solutions during the presales phase.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of accounts to the operations and account management teams postsale.
  • Monitor customer performance during the transition period and address any shortfalls proactively.

Market expansion and industry representation

  • Represent the company at industry events trade fairs and customer forums to build a strong network.
  • Share market insights with product and marketing teams to ensure solutions evolve with customer needs and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the companys footprint within key verticals

Your Profile

  • Proven track record in sales business development or account management within the logistics freight forwarding or supply chain industry.
  • 3 years of experience within business development preferably in Freight freight forwarding or supply chain industry.
  • Deep understanding of global trade supply chain operations and industryspecific challenges.
  • Solution selling and value creation in complex competitive markets.
  • Strong negotiation presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with financial acumen and project management capabilities.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Logistics or a related field.
