Interior Design/Architecture Internship Qubis Design Studio
About Qubis Design Studio:
Qubis Design Studio is a dynamic and growing design firm specializing in residential interiors commercial spaces and retail design. We are passionate about creating innovative and functional designs that exceed our clients expectations. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our team and contribute to our exciting projects.
Internship Opportunity:
We are offering a paid internship for aspiring Interior Designers or Architects for a duration of 6 to 9 months. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in a professional design environment and work on diverse projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior designers and architects in all phases of design projects from concept development to .
- Prepare and develop design presentations including mood boards material boards and 3D visualizations.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
- Conduct site visits and assist with site measurements and documentation.
- Source and select materials finishes and furniture.
- Assist with project coordination and communication with suppliers and contractors.
- Contribute to the development of design concepts and presentations.
- Assist in maintaining project documentation and records.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
- Support the team with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design Architecture or a related field.
- Strong interest in residential commercial and retail design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD SketchUp etc..
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for design.
- Basic understanding of design principles and building codes.
