The Role
Orora Packaging Solutions is seeking an experienced Machine Operator (Bobst) to join our team in our Sycamore IL facility.
This position will report to the: Production Manager
Location: Sycamore IL
FLSA Status: NonExempt
What Youll be Responsible For in this Role
In this role you will be responsible for operating a powered forklift to move stack or load materials throughout production warehouse storage and shipping/receiving area to the appropriate locations.
- Operates warehouse machines to stack and retrieve supplies and materials
- Documents and maintains inventory ensuring production area is organized and clean
- Follow all safety rules and regulations including Safe Operating Procedures and Lock Out / Tag Out Procedures
- Performs other duties and/ or responsibilities as assigned
- Physical Agility (if pertinent)
- Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as requested.
What Were Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 0 to 2 years of related experience
- Current Forklift Certification preferred
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to comprehend all written instructions safety and training related documents
- Ability to add subtract divide and multiply basic computation
