Job Description

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is hiring an Operations Supervisor. We are looking for a qualified applicant who will be in a leadership role interacting with drivers and freight handlers oversee the loading and unloading of freight and ensure company policies/procedures are being implemented.

Shift: MondayFriday (Shift TBD)

Pay: $65000$75000/year Depends on Experience Knowledge of the Transportation Industry

What you can expect a typical day to look like:

Supervisor employees on designated shift overseeing the hiring training scheduling and disciplinary actions
Conducts weekly and/or daily meetings with shift personnel to discuss updates and address any issues
Coordinate with personnel to maintain and repair company vehicles
Work with customers to resolve freight issues

What you will need to succeed on the job:

Two years supervisory and transportation experience required
Excellent interpersonal organization logistics math and communication skills
Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations
