Tessera is seeking an outgoing and organized Food Service Attendant Lead with a positive attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for leading the crew as a backup to the Food Service Manger but also is required to perform food services activities.
Assist Manager with ensuring all areas are clean sanitary safe and orderly.
Assist Manager with ensuring quality service to meet the contract requirements.
Assist Manager with ensuring that QC inspections are corrected on time and followed up on.
Assist Manager with any scheduling as needed including but not limited to covering shifts.
Assist Manager with training and coaching employees.
Responsible for various reports i.e. schedules training attendance evaluations various employee documentations correct time keeping and accident reports.
Responsible for the issue turn in & securing of all government and Skookum keys/vehicles/phones.
Ensure that buildings are secure and safety measures taken when exiting.
Participate with rehabilitation staff in development and monitoring of individual evaluations assessments and or training programs.
Coach mentor and resolve employee concerns in a respectful and mutually beneficial manner while adhering to a high confidentiality standard in all situations.
Monitor employees to ensure efficient use of time performance and understanding of work tasks.
Record daily personnel attendance and track employee absences tardiness etc.
Monitor employee interactions and conduct documenting misconduct on designated Skookum forms.
Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor.
Qualifications:
3 years of food service experience preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD RapidGate pass and DoD Green Badge.
Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills.
Must have an excellent attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a casebycase basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
May be required to reach kneel walk stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion reaching lifting kneeling and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time climbing in and out of a vehicle and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state drivers license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tesseras insurance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and EVerify will be conducted for this position.
