This position reports to the I&E Supervisor

What you will do:

• Work closely with trained/skilled employees in the assigned area and will support the departments goals and initiatives.
• Work safely to prevent onthejob injuries by following Nutrien OSHA MSHA and MARSEC guidelines.
• Use proper Personal Protection Equipment such as safety glasses gloves ear plugs face shield flash suits and personal environmental monitors.
• Work as part of a team to complete assignment and minimize downtime.
• Perform daily maintenance and overhauls on various types of equipment.
• Perform daily and routine preventative maintenance (PMs) on equipment.
• Repair various other types of static equipment including heat exchangers tanks screws elevators and boilers.
• Work as a productive team member and support continuous improvement
• Crosstraining and work in all areas of the facility as required.
• Perform work from elevated structures ladders scissor lifts boom lifts and manbaskets
• Complete mechanic progression training as required and within timelines outlined by KFO.

What you will bring:

• high school diploma or GED equivalenpostsecondary courses and training are preferred.
• Excellent understanding of maintenance practices and processes
• Experience operating mobile equipment including forklifts man lifts carry deck cranes etc.
• Possess basic computer skills and knowledge.
• Possess a high degree of integrity and ownership.
• Ability to follow all safety rules and regulations as set forth by Company.
• Ability to excel in a team environment.
• Ability to perform in a highperformance culture.
• Ability to effectively communicate (both verbal & nonverbal) with a diverse group of people.
• Ability to work at heights outdoors and around potentially hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to read understand and comply with standards policies and procedures.
• Be a selfstarter and work with little supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Possess troubleshooting and critical thinking ability.
• Physical capability to and comfort entering and working in a confined space.
• Ability to detect and understand audible alarms changes in noise levels of rotating equipment and portable radio communications.

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting rate $26.68 per hour (plus available overtime).

Nutrien offers a skillsbased pay compensation program. Hourly rates can progresses based on OnJobTraining formal learning and observation of new skills. Hourly rates can progress from starting rate of $25.00 to $34.25 per hour over a specified time period.
