PURPOSE:
We are looking for an IDeaS G3 RMS Configuration and RolloutCoordinator to help the client rollout the new platform.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The RM System Configuration and Rollout Coordinator providesa critical role of facilitating the regional/corporate teams successfulmigration to Clients new Revenue Management platform within the context of itsbroader revenue ecosystem. This position will be responsible for severalaspects of system implementation system maintenance and user profileconfiguration and provisioning. Specifically this role ensures that allrequisite conditions for migration have been completed including configurationin the new Revenue Management system coordination of completion ofcorresponding configuration changes in related systems including the RateManagement Tool the Central Reservation System the Sales System and theProperty Management System.
This role will work closely with the Global RevenueManagement Training and Operations team as well as the Global RevenueManagement Systems Support team.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will havedemonstrated experience in many of several areas: an endtoend understandingof Clients systems and the periphery systems that influence them; Opera PMSIdeas G3 RMS Excel macros and tools; large scale HR employee systems; andcomplex scheduling constraints. Other preferred experience includes scriptingrepetitive tasks.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
IDeaS G3 RMS experience preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in coordinator levelposition in hotel industry revenue management and/or revenue management systemsdiscipline
Minimum of 2 years involved in a dynamic team environment
Minimum of 3 years experience in Microsoft Office suiteof applications and related data management system
Effective efficient and diplomatic in working remotely
Effective working in an environment of detailed reportingand task tracking
Support of or advanced usage levels of Clients systems:PRIO Ideas Reserve RMT Opera
Coordination of implementation check lists to assist andguide hotels through pre mid and post implementation
Technically skilled in the Microsoft Office suite ofapplications including Excel Word Access PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability and willingness to operate in a fastpacedcomplex system/corporate environment
Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours per day.Walking and standing are required for the remainder of the workday.
Travel may be required but no more than 20 of the timebased on needs.
Requires understanding of revenue management systems andimplementation of processes
Ability to develop and deliver implementation processesand checklists
Ability to manage group and interpersonal conflictsituations effectively
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree required. Degree in Hotel Management orrelated field preferred.
