Position Description
Our District is seeking teachers certified to teach in British Columbia or teachers who are currently certified to teach in a Canadian province or territory or who have the ability to gain teacher certification in the Province of British Columbia.
We anticipate having multiple openings for May/June as well as for the upcoming school year for both contract teacher positions and casual on call positions.
This posting if for individuals wishing to complete the interview and reference check process in order to expediate the hiring process.

About School District 57
School District No.57 resides on the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli Tenneh First Nations McLeod Lake Indian Band and the Simpcw First Nations.
Geographically we expand from Mackenzie through Prince George to McBride and Valemount. We serve 41 schools: 32 Elementary schools 8 Secondary schools and 1 District Learning Support center for alternative and alternate learning opportunities.
We provide educational programs for approximately 15000 students inclusive of early learning after school art and sports programing trades programs and dual credit programs with our local postsecondary schools.
We support Lheidli Tenneh students McLeod Lake students and Takla students living on reserve through our Local Education Agreements. With each Nation we coconstruct the educational services provided to the students while attending a school within our school district.
