Responsibilities
Overall Assignment Description:
Seniorlevel Cloud Architects play a key role in leading and overseeing the planning design and implementation of cloud service architecture. They evaluate and prioritize various cloud service alternatives to ensure the Government successfully designs business and mission solutions leveraging cloudbased systems and services.
Duties may include:
Leading and promoting cultural transformation for cloud adoption.
Overseeing the development and coordination of cloud architectures.
Developing cloud strategies and facilitating the adoption of cloudbased solutions.
Providing guidance and support to Mid and Juniorlevel Cloud Architects on the team.
Qualifications

Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering Engineering Management Management Information Systems or related STEM degree program or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a nonSTEM degree.
- 12 years of experience in designing and architecting cloudbased systems.
- Experience with or indepth understanding of MBSE
- Working experience with NGA/NRO joint integration activities.
- Working knowledge of NGA IPO infrastructure.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Cameo architecture tool or similar tools.
- One or more of the following Cloud Certifications (or equivalent) are required:
- Cloud Certified Solutions Architect
- AWS Certified
- Cisco Certified Network Administrator Cloud
- Cisco Certified Network Professional Cloud
- IBM Certified Cloud Solution Architect
- MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP7CMA)
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
