Sentara health is now hiring a Senior Scrum Master to join our team!
This is a Full time Remote position.
Coordinate and monitor the scrum process from initiation through delivery. Serve as liaison between the product owner development team and management to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Ensure that team members understand project objectives. Maintain product backlog and release plan and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the teams sprint goals. Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.Careerlevel professional within the field. Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline. Conducts complex important work under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment.
Education
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Experience in lieu of Bachelors Degree or Certification
5 years of relevant experience with a degree
7 years of relevant experience without a degree
Certification/Licensure
- CSM/PSM/ SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)/ CSPSM Preferred
Experience
- Proven experience coordinating and monitoring the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a liaison between product owners development teams and management to ensure alignment on goals and requirements.
- Experience ensuring team understanding of project objectives and supporting clear communication across all stakeholders.
- Strong background in identifying and removing impediments that impact sprint progress and team performance.
- Ability to operate in fastpaced dynamic environments with a focus on flexibility and adaptability in response to change.
