Required Skills
Erlang OTP:
- Demonstrated expertise in using Erlang and OTP for system development with a strong understanding of concurrent programming and fault-tolerant systems.
AWS:
- Extensive experience with AWS services and architecture including deployment management and scaling of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
Postgres & Kafka:
- Proficient in managing and utilizing Postgres databases and Kafka for efficient data processing and integration.
Additional Skills:
Elixir:
- Experience with Elixir is valuable with a preference for transitioning this knowledge to strengthen expertise in Erlang.
Payment Systems:
- Prior experience in designing and building scalable reliable payment and collection systems is highly beneficial.
Cloud Infrastructure:
- In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure particularly AWS tools and services to support application development and operations.
Python:
- Knowledge of Python is advantageous contributing to broader technical versatility and the ability to handle diverse programming tasks.
Problem Solving:
- Strong ability to identify analyze and solve complex problems within systems while challenging existing processes to drive innovation and improvement.
Communication:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring alignment and facilitating successful project outcomes.
Leadership:
- Proven ability to mentor and guide team members fostering a culture of growth and success while driving the team to achieve project goals.
Educational Background
- Candidates should have a strong educational background in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field ensuring a solid foundation in technical principles essential for the position.
Language Requirement
- Strong English proficiency is essential both written and spoken to ensure effective collaboration and communication across teams.
