Job Description
Stamford Plaza Melbourneis a five star hotel located at the Paris end of Little Collins Street in the heart of the shopping and theatre district.
We are looking for an experiencedFood & Beverage Supervisorto join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager you will play a pivotal role in our dining space.
- Permanent full time position
- Rotating shifts including nights and weekends
Asthe Food & Beverage Supervisor you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the team in accordance with standard operating procedures training staff on performance standards Food & Beverage menus and product knowledge.
In addition to the above other duties of this position include:
- Coordinating the operations of different outlets: bar room service breakfast buffet and banquets
- Deal with guest complaints following correct hotel procedures.
- Attend shift handover briefings read and action items in communication diary and noticeboard.
- Prepare fortnightly rosters.
We arelooking for a person with the following attributes:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the hotel industry.
- Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management (highly desirable).
- Strong leadership skills and experience.
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
