What youll do:

  • Apply herbicide to pipeline utility rightofway.

  • Maintain electronic spray logs to record the amount and types of herbicide used as well as the coverage area.

  • Inspect and assess vegetation in rightofways for compliance standards and construction work plans.

  • Identify tree and brush control work and protection zone recommendations.

What youll need:

  • Love of the outdoors and the ability to work and hike in rugged terrain.

  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.

  • Ability to operate with limited remote supervision.

  • Leadership experience and a desire for career growth will be given a priority.

  • Demonstrated expertise in problem solving meeting deadlines and technical innovation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Availability and desire to travel throughout the utility service area.

  • Valid Drivers License with clean DMV driving record and ability to drive and operate a UTV.

  • Organizational skills; working knowledge of computers and programs file creation manipulation and sharing.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Relevant pesticide and/or Herbicide licenses and certificates or the ability to obtain within 90 days. Assistance available for educational material and licensing fees.
