Would you like to be a part of our wonderful team in Karlstad and contribute your expertise and experience in electrical power to our stimulating and interesting industrial projects We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer who is driven to deliver solutions to our customers and lead others towards common goals.
About the Department
Within the Industrial Karlstad department approximately 50 skilled employees specialize in Electrical Instrument and Automation Engineering Process Engineering and Plant Engineering. We often work in project groups with comprehensive commitments covering all our technical areas offering expert assistance to our customers in planning designing and optimizing various types of industrial facilities and energy systems. Our primary focus is on projects within the process industry where we act as close partners to our clients. The department also collaborates extensively with other divisions within the industrial division including our process engineers to provide impactful solutions to our customers. About the Position
Your expertise is the key to our success. We work across borders and in different business areas sharing our knowledge and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues. You contribute your expertise while also having the opportunity to learn from the best. You are a specialist in electrical engineering and your primary responsibility within the team is to lead the current discipline in our industrial clients projects and pave the way for technical development.
Your Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities will include among other things being out with our customers where you are our point of contact and ambassador. Through your own work and collaboration with customers and COWIs organization you take responsibility for the tasks and challenges our customers wish to address.
The daily responsibilities include:
- Planning driving and leading the departments customer order projects regarding electrical engineering ensuring high quality in our deliveries.
- Mentoring others and serving as a mentor for younger colleagues.
- Participating in internal development projects such as our technical forums where employees from different departments exchange experiences.
- Contributing to driving and developing the departments market and business.
- Collaborating with colleagues within electrical and automation as well as other disciplines to collectively deliver the best to the customer.
Who We Think You Are
You are a trained electrical engineer/designer with more than three years of experience in electrical engineering. Formal education can be compensated with experience in installation/operation. You have knowledge in LV switchgear distribution and cable calculations. Desirable for the position is if you have experience as a handler/project manager and design in highvoltage installations. Substations and switchgear constructions within industrial projects will be part of your duties. We highly value your ability to drive and develop projects with customer focus as well as your strong commitment and solutionoriented approach.
