About Skyroot Aerospace
Skyroot Aerospace is a National awardwinning growthstage startup founded by former ISRO scientists. Our mission is to open space for all by providing affordable reliable and responsive space launch solutions. We are a closeknit team of Space professionals building leading space launch vehicles and solutions from India for the world.
Purpose of Role: To Assist the test & Integration engineers in team.
Responsibilities
- Generate 3D models of the components assemblies tooling & fixtures.
- Create 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D CAD models along with Bill of Materials.
- Ensure the release of the manufacturing drawings with GD&T as per aerospace standards.
- Interaction with design manufacturing integration and quality teams to ensure the design meets all requirements.
- Supports product sourcing purchasing and selection as required by the design process.
- Provides technical and engineering support for daytoday processing product development and process improvements.
- Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties.
- Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating building assembling and installing components.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of CAD modelling drawings and machine design with experience in design analyses Experience with SolidWorks Auto Cad & Creo.
- Strong knowledge on GD&T.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes including turning milling and welding. Experience with CAM software is a plus
- Willingness to take on nontraditional tasks roles responsibilities and challenges needed to accomplish company goals and objectives.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to write design reports test plans and deliver design presentations.
- Passion for space exploration and firm belief in delivering affordable access to space.
- Selfdriven engineer who thrives in ambiguity.

- Experience in startup or agile development environment.
- Ability to inspire comradery and mutual respect in a diverse team.
Essential:
1. Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering 23 years experience)
Preferrable:
1.Preferable for aerospace and defence experience.
