BECOME A RAMP CATERING SECURITY AGENT AT PRIMEFLIGHT!

The Ramp Catering Security Agent is responsible for ensuring compliance with TSA catering security requirements and operates in a facility where food products are processed. This role involves inspecting catering carts transporting vehicles and monitoring security procedures to prevent unauthorized access or tampering. The agent must also coordinate security escorts and maintain compliance with airport security regulations including obtaining the necessary clearances and training.

WHAT ITS LIKE TO WORK AS A RAMP CATERING SECURITY AGENT

• Conduct a visual inspection of all catering carts and sealed items to the extent permitted by local laws and hygiene standard
• Search empty transport vehicles before loading catering carts or supplies
• Ensure all access doors are sealed or escorted according to security protocols
• Seal inspected catering carts and maintain a record
• Ensure the transport vehicle proceeds directly to the aircraft
• Report any tampering detected to the airline and manager
• Monitor the loading of all sealed catering carts and other catering supplies into the assigned transport vehicle
• Bring their A game every day with energy and enthusiasm respect for their team and the highest regard for safety
• May be assigned other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Have received specific training in accordance with the MSP or other legal requirements
• Must have a valid stateissued drivers license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to read write speak and understand the English language to include documents
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets Computers and Mobile Devices
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients both inperson and through electronic means
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA TSA Port Authority U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal as applicable)
• Airlines are 24/7 so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays
