Job Description
Hire Resolves client in the Logistics Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Fleet Manager to join their team in Johannesburg Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
- Drivers timesheets: collect at the end of the shift analyze loads and standing time
- Update faults on board in the workshop daily
- Truck decal and cleanliness inspection
- Monitor Drivers
- Monitor driver PDP
- Query poor performance from drivers
- Load performances to be recorded on a spreadsheet.
- Liaise with the workshop regarding the status of trucks
- Monthly reports
- Employing new drivers
- Do inspections on trucks after work has been done.
- Test trucks after maintenance has been done
- Dispatch loads to clients around 200 loads per day
- Schedule trucks with workshop and dispatch for maintenance
Requirements:
- Code 14 drivers license
- Experience in driving trucks
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic
- Must have experience in fixing trucks or at least looking at truck maintenance
- Fleet management
- Working hours will be from 06:30 am to 17:00 pm or until the last truck has come home
