Description

Supervisor Food Services

Supervises food service areas including sandwich stand salad bar grill hot foods and tray line to ensure customer satisfaction. Implements business practices aligned with the organizations mission oversees operations and identifies growth opportunities.

Position Highlights:

  • Located in High Point NC
  • Day 1 Health Coverage:Choose from either copay or HSAeligible health insurance options with coverage starting on your first day of work.
  • Generous PTO:Accrual starts at 25 days/year to be used for vacations sickness holidays and personal matters.

Youll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of supervisory experience
  • Serv Safe certification

Nice to Have:

  • Associates degree

Essential Functions:

  1. Manages daily food service operations ensuring staff have necessary tools and meet goals.
  2. Assists with cash handling payroll and scheduling tasks.
  3. Identifies and resolves operational issues escalating as needed.
  4. Delegates tasks monitors standards and prioritizes key activities.
  5. Provides constructive feedback to motivate and improve employee performance.
  6. Ensures compliance with regulations policies and safety standards.
  7. Promotes workplace safety through training and equipment maintenance.
  8. Sets standards implements quality improvements and communicates effectively.
  9. Builds employee satisfaction and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
  10. Maintains high service quality and delivery standards.
  11. Supports diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Excellent customer service for internal and external customers.
  • Ability to handle stress and time pressures effectively.
  • Builds trusting and professional relationships with staff customers and vendors.
  • Upholds ethical standards and complies with regulations.

Work Environment:

  • Work in kitchen and retail areas.
  • Exposure to wet floors and sharp equipment.
