What Will You Do:
Collaborate with our internal partners and facilitate discussions surrounding technical issues (e.g. Regions Projects Asset Management Procurement).
Perform technical studies and analysis for daytoday and systemic issues.
Learn from technical specialists within the Operations Engineering team through failure analyses incident investigations and initiatives linked to teams strategic priorities.
Support Projects business unit and the Regions by participating in technical design reviews engaging with project managers and engineers to ensure compliance with Enbridge specifications and standards and regulatory requirements.
Support content ownership of Enbridge specifications and standards with a continual focus on identifying competitive solutions and opportunities for innovative technologies.
Who You Are:
Completion of a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University.
Currently registered as an EngineerInTraining with APEGA or eligible to register within one year of hire.
24 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles related to pipeline facilities in the field or in a related area.
Familiar with government regulatory and industry codes regarding pipeline facilities in Canada and the US.
Effective interpersonal skills which includes both verbal and written communication.
Selfmotivated learning and growth mindset and consistent track record to take the lead in identifying innovative solutions.
Role requires a valid drivers license which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
Valid passport to travel between US and Canada.
Working Conditions:
Office based role.
1015 of travel to other Enbridge office and field locations.
