Position Title: Senior Finance Manager
Department: Finance
Reports to: CFO / Chief Financial Officer
Location: Santo Domingo/ Dominican Republic
Supervises: Accounting Team Treasury Financial Control Budgeting
Position Purpose:
Lead the financial and operational strategy of the company ensuring the achievement of financial goals optimizing resources and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information for strategic decisionmaking. This role is key in the construction sector and requires demonstrated experience in financial and operational audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct financial planning and analysis (FP&A) including annual budgets forecasts and financial models.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements accounting and tax reports in accordance with local and international standards (IFRS).
Manage cash flow treasury and banking relationships.
Ensure compliance with tax regulatory and contractual obligations.
Implement and strengthen internal financial controls on construction sites and projects.
Coordinate and execute both internal and external audits accounting as well as operational.
Analyze profitability by project work or business unit.
Monitor financial progress of construction projects controlling budget deviations.
Ensure compliance with contracts with clients contractors and suppliers from a financial perspective.
Support in tender processes valuations project closures and audits.
Lead develop and motivate the finance team.
Work closely with project engineering legal and procurement departments.
Requirements:
University degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related fields.
MBA or Masters in Finance or Auditing (desirable).
Over 8 years of progressive experience in financial roles including at least 3 years in the construction sector.
Experience in financial and operational auditing ideally with auditing firms or construction companies.
Advanced proficiency in Excel financial ERPs (SAP Oracle NetSuite) and construction management software (Primavera Procore etc..
Deep knowledge of fiscal accounting and construction regulations (FIDIC contracts estimations valuations).
Advanced English (desirable depending on region).
