Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer with mining experience to join our clients team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading mining company contributing to the design installation and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems. The role requires a handson professional with a strong background in the heavy industry and compliance with mining regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design install and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems for mining operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant mining regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct faultfinding troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on electrical and control systems.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize plant and equipment performance.
- Assist with the commissioning of new equipment and upgrades to existing infrastructure.
- Develop and implement E&I engineering solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Prepare technical documentation reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
About You:
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
- Minimum years of experience in an E&I role within the mining or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems PLCs SCADA and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with Australian mining standards and industry best practices (if applicable).
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong knowledge of automation and control systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong safety focus and understanding of mining health & safety regulations.
