Overview
Position:Physical Therapist Assistant Sports Medicine
Location: 3240 Silver Lake Rd Fenton MI 48430
Incentives: Student Debt Benefit
Schedule: FullTime (MondayFriday)
Compensation: Hourly starting at $24.00 and up commensurate with experience PLUS $200/mth Student Loan Assistance
Our NovaCare Rehabilitationoutpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide topnotch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience helping all of our patients get back to athletics work life and the things they love.
Join our Sports Center of Excellence! 1 year of sports medicine experience preferred. New Grads Welcome to Apply! Mentorship provided. Position will split between the Fenton and Holly clinics which are appoximately 6 miles apart.
Center specialties include: Ortho Sports Med Center of Excellence Pelvic Health Vestibular Dry Needling Concussion Industrial ACL Program DorsaVi AMI Testing and VALD Force Plate Testing

Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement with minimal supervision high quality physical therapy services for patients caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
