About the role
We are seeking a Lead Technical Business Analyst to enhance and manage our SICS environment a core system for contracts claims technical accounting and treaty reinsurance. This role ensures seamless system enhancements integrations and optimizations to support MS Reinsurances evolving needs.
Acting as the key liaison between business and IT this individual will align SICS with business objectives while driving technology transformations. As part of the CORE product team within the Application Factory (a scaled agile delivery unit) they will collaborate in a crossfunctional team environment with internal and external stakeholders. The role also requires expertise in scaled agile methodologies and design thinking to deliver usercentric solutions.
Your responsibilities
Act as the main bridge between business and technology for SICS enhancements configurations and integrations.
Analyze and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
Work closely with Finance Underwriting Claims Middle Office Retrocession and IT to ensure smooth data flows and system interactions.
Lead technical initiatives to optimize SICS integrations with enterprise applications.
Manage system maintenance updates and service packs with minimal disruption.
Maintain an automated testing framework (SIT UAT Regression) to support scalability and digitalization.
Implement system monitoring and datadriven analysis to enhance performance and adoption.
Identify and drive process optimizations for reinsurance operations.
Provide technical support and training to enhance user proficiency in SICS.
Your profile
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field.
5 years of experience in business analysis IT or technical system support within reinsurance or insurance.
Strong knowledge of reinsurance processes including technical accounting claims handling and treaty administration.
Experience with reinsurance platforms such as SICS DXC Reinsurance or SAP FSRI.
Handson expertise in system integration APIdriven architectures and enterprise data flows.
Familiarity with agile methodologies (SAFe Scrum Kanban) and automated testing practices.
Proficiency in SQL data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
Strong stakeholder management skills especially in transformation and change initiatives.
Excellent problemsolving communication and documentation skills.
Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus.
