Job Description
THE TEAM
The mission of the Cybersecurity Department is to deliver highquality cybersecurity services and solutions that minimize risk across Aritzias systems and data.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As the leader of the Cybersecurity Department you will lead and motivate the team responsible for the protection of Aritzias assets technologies and data against cyber threats. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Aritzias technology security landscape by establishing the enterprise cybersecurity vision strategy and roadmap serving as a key advisor and strategic partner to the organizations senior leadership. You will be at the forefront of developing comprehensive cuttingedge cybersecurity programs and will collaborate internally with Technology and crossfunctional teams as well as externally with vendors and industry peers to implement them. You will also oversee a variety of cybersecurity governance compliance and risk management practices to ensure our technologies are built and maintained in a secure manner. Your ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts in an accessible way will be instrumental in building strong partnerships across the business to foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and resilience at all levels of the organization. THE ROLE
As the VP Cybersecurity you will:
Establish a clear vision and strategic direction for Cybersecurity at Aritzia ensuring timely prioritization of opportunities leveraging top talent and driving efficiency while making smart investments
Serve as a key advisor and strategic partner to Aritzias senior leadership integrating cybersecurity considerations into broader business strategies and goals
Establish and lead the team to enforce cybersecurity standards policies and processes in compliance with industry regulations and best practices and ensure the broader Technology leadership team Aritzias senior leadership team and Aritzias Board of Directors are informed about these standards as well as any changes in the cybersecurity landscape that may impact the organization
Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and resilience across the organization
Lead the team to support compliance outline operational integrity and identify and manage cybersecurity risks working closely with Aritzias Legal team to ensure all cybersecurity requirements are adequately addressed
Oversee the development management maintenance and communication of internal cybersecurity policies including education testing and validation of benchmarks and standards including but not limited to PCIDSS
Lead the team to define and manage identity and access controls based on business and compliance requirements across identity authentication and access management
Oversee the mitigation of vulnerabilities and threats using security controls and alerts establishing a robust network security architecture to protect Aritzias infrastructure against unauthorized access and cyber threats
Lead the building testing and deployment of cybersecurity features and enhancements
Lead incident response and crisis management efforts including simulations and postmortem reviews to ensure continuous improvement of Aritzias cybersecurity posture
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The VP Cybersecurity has:
Proven and bestinclass skills applicable certifications education and/or experience
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically balancing immediate needs with longterm objectives in a fastpaced environment
Proven experience navigating complex regulatory environments and ensuring alignment with legal compliance and ethical standards
Exceptional leadership and teambuilding skills with a proven track record of developing and retaining top cybersecurity talent
Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels including senior executives and board of directors
Technical expertise in network security incident response threat intelligence and security architecture as well as proficiency in leveraging advanced tools and analytics to enhance threat detection response capabilities and overall cybersecurity operations
Proven success in building a comprehensive cybersecurity framework
A commitment to learn apply champion and enrich Aritzias Values and Business and People Leadership principles
The skills to collaborate strategically with crossfunctional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team

THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $200000$400000 USD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Additionally this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
