Pay Grade: 125 (daily rate calculated based on 2 or 3 days per week)
Job Summary:
School psychologists apply intervention and diagnostic expertise in mental health learning and behavior to help children and youth succeed academically socially behaviorally and emotionally.
Essential Duties
Minimum Education and Experience Qualifications
Masters Specialist or Doctorate level training or state equivalency eligible for reciprocal licensure/Endorsement (or eligible for licensure) in school psychology through the Virginia Department of Education or eligible for reciprocal licensure from another state.
Special Requirements:
Must hold a valid Virginia drivers license.
Physical Demands
Must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity hear and understand speech at normal levels; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly; physical agility to lift up to 25 pounds to bend stoop climb stairs walk and reach overhead.
