Responsibilities
The school seeks candidates to teach undergraduate general chemistry lectures and labs and additional courses in the candidates area of expertise as needed. The successful candidate will contribute to coordination of general chemistry curriculum assessment and contribute to laboratory curriculum development. The typical teaching load is the equivalent of 12 credits per semester. Additionally the successful candidate will engage in curriculum development and participate in academic advising recruiting course and program assessment and service to the school college and University.
Qualifications
A masters degree in Chemistry Chemistry Education or a closely related field is required at the time of appointment; preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. or those with a combination of professional experience and education that provide commensurate qualifications. Preference will also be given to candidates who have demonstrated experience in laboratory curriculum assessment and development.
