We are looking for a French Content Moderator to join our team in Lisbon. In this role you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating online content to ensure it complies with community guidelines and standards. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe positive and engaging online environment for our Frenchspeaking audience. Content Review: Monitor and review usergenerated content in French across various platforms (social media forums websites etc. to ensure it complies with community guidelines policies and legal requirements.
Flagging Inappropriate Content: Identify and flag content that violates company policies including but not limited to offensive language hate speech inappropriate images and harmful behavior.
Quality Control: Ensure that content is accurate relevant and appropriate contributing to a highquality user experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with the moderation team and other departments to ensure consistent application of guidelines and policies.
Feedback Reporting: Provide feedback to improve content guidelines user behavior policies and content strategies based on trends and issues identified during moderation.
Escalation: Escalate more complex or sensitive cases to the appropriate team members or managers for further review or action.
Trend Monitoring: Stay uptodate with emerging trends in content and social media to better understand user behaviors and potential content challenges.
User Interaction: Respond to queries or concerns from users related to content moderation in a professional and supportive manner.
Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed daily moderation targets while maintaining high accuracy and quality standards.
Fluent in French: Native or nearnative proficiency in French (both written and spoken).
English Proficiency: Strong communication skills in English as you may need to collaborate with international teams and document cases.
Attention to Detail: Ability to carefully assess and evaluate content for compliance with policies identifying subtle violations.
Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and decisionmaking skills to effectively evaluate complex content issues.
Familiarity with Online Platforms: Experience using social media and online platforms with an understanding of online content trends and community standards.
CustomerFocused: Professional empathetic and effective communication with users especially when addressing sensitive topics or issues.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment and adapting to evolving guidelines or policies.
TechSavvy: Proficient in using content management tools moderation platforms and other software necessary for the role.
Team Player: Collaborative with the ability to work well in a team while being selfdriven and proactive in completing tasks.
Previous Content Moderation Experience: Experience in content moderation online community management or a similar role is a plus.
Knowledge of Social Media Trends: Understanding of current trends in digital content online communities and social media platforms.
Degree in Communications Journalism or Related Field: A background in communications digital media or a related field is advantageous.
Familiarity with Legal and Ethical Guidelines: Knowledge of relevant laws and ethical standards regarding online content and user privacy.
Experience with Content Moderation Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Moderation Tools CMS or other relevant software for managing content.
