This is a temporary position.

As a member of the Finance Business Partner group for Global Technology (FBP GT) the Manager FinanceDigital Products will be part of a team that serves as the single finance business partner for select members of the Digital Product leaders in Marriotts Global Technology team. This role provides critical support to delivering a holistic view of financial performance across initiatives and ongoing support expenses in an application or service portfolio.

The Manager FinanceDigital Products coordinates with and supports select stakeholders (assigned portfolio) including members of other finance teams and GT leaders in Digital Products discipline teams. She/he provides financial evaluation of Global Technology/Digital projects business cases programs and initiatives cost and recovery objectives longrange planning and daytoday oversight of the financial health of the assigned application and service portfolios.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • Baccalaureate degree in Finance Accounting or related discipline required.
  • Minimum 5 years financial management experience in a global organization.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of GAAP as well as strong excel skills.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting reporting and effectively communicating to Leadership.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently make decisions in a timely manner and work under tight deadlines.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Partner with theDirector FinanceDigital Productswhich will include:

  • Partner with GT Digital Product leaders to manage the financial performance and oversight of the holistic application or service portfolio: initiative spend financial transparency into key individual initiatives and monitoring and insights on the ongoing support expense of the relevant applications or services.
  • Manage Digital accruals to ensure complete and accurate accounting on a monthly basis.
  • Guide associates utilizing special financial models for establishing goals and identifying financial opportunities. Prepare financial analysis and reports to track financial results and trends.
    • Support associates to utilize special reporting tools (e.g. Budgeting & Forecasting Tracker IT CAM Apptio Mosaic) and ensure tools are updated appropriately to reflect changes in technology and/or business needs.
    • Facilitate the of programs and processes for sharing of information consistently amongst GT Digitalleaders and for facilitating the ongoing improvement of management reporting across the GT Digitalorganization.
    • Assess performance and make recommendations on process improvements.
    • Identify risks and deliver quality solutions for critical business issues utilizing financial data and trends.
    • Develop proactive strategies to optimize results and monitor implementation to assure success and accountability across the businesses continents and brands. Develop processes necessary to ensure accurate timely and meaningful sharing of financial information to key stakeholders.
  • Create presentations and reporting packages for department leaders. Develop and maintain strong relationships with GT Digitalleaders Global Finance leaders and other key stakeholders to provide guidance and/or consultation as appropriate to effectively influence business decisions and financial outcomes and optimize overall work effectiveness.
  • Lead finance related activities for the development and implementation of new programs services and initiatives in GT Digital.
  • Conduct capitalization analysis of various initiatives to ensure accurate accounting. Align with Marriott Accounting team GT Digitalleaders and initiative managers to educate and make decisions pertaining to capitalization. Document the justification of decisions for Finance Leadership.
  • Perform other analyses as required.

The pay range for this position is $40.81 to $62.79 per hour.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
