Job Description
Gearbox Studio developer of hit games such asBorderlandsTiny Tinas Wonderlands andBrothers in Arms is seeking aTechnical Designerwith strong technical skills combined with a creative and collaborative mindset.

MISSION
As a Technical Designer you will work closely with the Senior Technical Designer the design team and other disciplines toestablishdevelopment standards that ensure the creation ofperformant robust and highquality content.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development of interactive objects scripted events and other complex content elements.
- Contribute to prototyping and the iterative process from paper concepts to the engine.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the content meets their constraints andobjectives.
- Identifytooling needs andassistin their creation.
- Monitor level performance statistics andidentifyproblematic elements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working on 3 or more games havingparticipatedin all stages of development from concept to delivery.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
- Strong scripting skills applicable in both prototyping and final production contexts.
- Solid understanding of memory and performance concepts and their application in a modern game engine.
- Deep understanding of modern AAA action games and production practices.
- Experience with FPS or 3D action titles is considered an asset.
