Job Description
Direct Medics is a leading healthcare recruitment specialist recruiting Allied Health Professionals of all bands and specialties for long and shortterm locum roles throughout the UK.
As such we are seeking an Audiologist based in Croydon who will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Tier 2 diagnostic services for children aged 8 months to 18 years assessing hearing difficulties and taking into account their social histories and listening needs. This includes conducting both simple and complex test procedures following NHSP guidelines for newborn hearing screenings and collaborating with pediatricians speechlanguage therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care. The role also offers opportunities for ongoing training and professional development
6 month contract initially 37.5 hours per week
Requirements
- Degree in Audiology or equivalent
- Professional Registration
- Post registration experience working in a paediatric service
- Experience performing paediatric audiology diagnostic assessments
- Right to live and work in the UK
