  • Part time 30.4 hrs per week or full time option available SCHADS Level 4 $43.08 per hour

Are you passionate about helping others feel connected and supported Join us as a Social Inclusion Peer Navigator and make a difference!

If you have lived experience a strong sense of empathy and a desire to empower others wed love to hear from you!

What exactly does a Social Inclusion Peer Wellbeing Navigator do you ask You will support participants to engage in social activities. Provide peer support and use your livedexperience guidance and give assistance with service navigation and care planning.

You are passionate about social inclusion and community connection and have a personal understanding of mental health addiction. You communicate and connect easily with diverse participants and services creating safe spaces where individuals feel supported in working toward their personal goals.

With strong people skills you will advocate for participants ensuring that diversity is celebrated and that individuals can actively participate in activities that give them strength to build capacity to live meaningful lives.

You will also need:

  • Personal experience of a mental health and or addiction challenges in recovery or have cared for someone who has
  • Certificate IV/Diploma in Mental Health AOD or Tertiary Qualification in Social Science or
  • 1 year relevant work experience in the Mental Health Sector or Intentional Peer Support Training
  • Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
  • Australian Driver Licence
  • National Police Check Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion certificate free online course
