The Verifications team builds and maintains the systems that power compliance regulatory reporting identity verification and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes across all Remitly products. As an SDE 2 on the team you will lead the design and development of initiatives critical to our ability to stay within compliance of our regulating bodies as well as provide a world class experience for our customers. You will report to the Engineering Manager for Trust Platform in this role.
You Will:
- Design build and maintain scalable frontend and backend systems
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product managers and designers to deliver customerfocused solutions
- Lead technical discussions provide mentorship to junior engineers and advocate for best practices in coding testing and system design.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges improving system performance reliability and maintainability.
- Contribute to the evolution of our verification platform
You Have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of experience in software engineering
- Professional experience with one of the following programming languages: TypeScript JavaScript Kotlin Java Go.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $136000 $170000. In the U.S. Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
