Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in Helena Montana.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
  • Provides Quality interpretation of requirements. Develops quality metrics design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual Company and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.
  • Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
  • Performs analysis tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
  • Provides material review dispositions for nonconformances.
  • Analyzes nonconformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Recommends corrective actions to address nonconformances.
  • Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
  • Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree from an ABET accredited course of study in Engineering
  • 3 years of experience working as a Quality Engineer
  • 3 years of Quality Management System experience
  • 3 years of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions
  • 3 years of experience collecting organizing and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusions.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of Aerospace industry / manufacturing support experience
  • 3 years of Quality Engineer and/or Supplier Quality Engineer role experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AS9100 AS9102 AS9145 AS13003 and other Aerospace standards
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external customers
  • Experience working in a team environment
