Job Description

Join our team as an Outpatient Clinical Pharmacy Program Manager where you will develop implement and oversee clinical programs in our outpatient pharmacy. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Specialty Pharmacy you will manage clinical coordinators and other assigned staff provide education to pharmacists and support personnel and serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage specialtypharmacy clinical programs.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy clinical coordinators and assigned staff.
- Oversee pharmacist training and ensure clinical program efficiency.
- Provide direct patient care and resolve complex clinical issues.
- Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent 3 years of experience.
- Advanced degree preferred (MBA MPH etc)
- Completion of an ASHPaccredited residency program (PGY1 or 3 years of equivalent experience required
- Specialty residency training (PGY2 or equivalent experience preferred
- Maryland pharmacy license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Vaccination certification (required within six months of hire).
- Active CPR certification.
- Must meet the requirements for an ASHP residency director and/or residency preceptor as assigned
- Advanced certification preferred (CDE BCACP CGP etc.
Salary Range: Minimum49.18per hour Maximum89.16per will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
