Trademark Associate Attorney
Location: New York New York
Our client a distinguished AmLaw 50 global law firm is seeking a talented Trademark Associate Attorney to join their dynamic Trademark/Copyright team in New York. This group advises an impressive array of clients including some of the worlds largest trademark portfolio holders on a wide range of trademark and copyright matters. With a practice that spans domestic and international jurisdictions this team is at the forefront of innovation in trademark and copyright law.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a toptier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in New York.
- 35 years of substantive experience in trademark and copyright matters including litigation.
- Interested in expanding on their litigation experience to integrate more counseling and contentious work.
- Strong writing analytical and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a broad range of trademark and copyright matters including clearance prosecution and litigation.
- Represent clients in TTAB opposition and cancellation proceedings trademark and copyright infringement actions and related contentious matters.
- Manage largescale multinational trademark clearance projects providing strategic and practical advice tailored to clients needs.
- Draft and negotiate agreements related to intellectual property rights including licensing and coexistence agreements.
- Offer thoughtful and innovative counsel on sophisticated trademark and copyright issues for a diverse client base.
