Were looking for a product designer with 2 years of experience a passion for scalable product design a knack for solving challenging (UI/UX) problems and an eye for detail. If you are keen on advancing your career working with the leading startup in life insurance innovation wed love to meet you!
Youll be working as part of a multidisciplinary design team while collaborating closely with product owners and developers in creating exceptional product design outcomes for our product and customer teams. To be successful in this role you should have a good understanding of interaction design & prototyping as well as brand application. You should also have experience designing features and/or products from start to finish including developer handoff and documentation.
Summary of Role:
- Work as a member of an international multidisciplinary Design Team.
- Collaborate closely with other designers on a variety of product and customer projects; share in the workload lead by example and motivate others.
- Work directly with Product Development and Customer Success Teams.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders on a daytoday basis; attend meetings and manage email & Slack correspondence.
- Collaborate with developers on design handoff and design QA once the product is ready to be shipped.
- Prepare and maintain documentation as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate ideas & briefs into compelling design that is consistent & scalable including but not limited to workflows user flows wireframes mockups high fidelity UI/UX prototypes.
- Carry out UI/UX branding projects for our customers from start to finish.
- Present product designs & concepts to internal stakeholders.
- Carry out design QA on built products.
- Prepare and maintain relevant documentation on each project.
- Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. When necessary organize workload around changing priorities.
- Inspire and share ideas with other design members across the organization.
- Display strong organizational skills liaise confidently with stakeholders to obtain relevant input on projects.
- Flexibility in working hours when required on urgent projects.
- Accurately report time spent on projects.
- Actively participate in ideation sessions & design reviews across design and product disciplines.
- Understand and advance the Sureify product suite. Ensure and encourage consistency within and across products.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- 2 years relevant years experience in product design.
- Ability to work independently and be selfmotivated.
- Proactive approach to communication career projects and relationships.
- Proficiency in industry standard tools and design software.
- Experience in designing & prototyping web and smartphone apps.
- Experience in applying brand guidelines to existing UX/UI.
- Bachelors degree in product design UI/UX design HCI or equivalent certification.
- Working knowledge of information architecture and hierarchy for complex products.
- Team player; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organization skills; you know how to prioritize and work efficiently in order to deliver projects by the agreed due date.
- Passion for design attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn from others share knowledge; and a drive to improve.
- Comfortable working across time zones & cultures (GMT7 / GMT5:30.
- Experience working on customerdriven projects is an advantage.
- Experience with product design for Insurtech or FinTech applications is a plus.
