An exciting career opportunity has opened in Bristol or Dorchester: Galliford Try is searching for a Senior PreConstruction Engineer to be part of our Environment Business. You will take the lead on pivotal Wessex Water projects bridging preconstruction design commercial and delivery teams.

What Youll Do:

Your role is as diverse as it is impactful:

• Lead the Detailed Design & Procurement Phase ensuring client approvals while finding ways to save time and costs.
• Stay proactive! You will oversee design deliverables set realistic stretch goals and check for quality along the way.
• Collaborate with multiple teams (Operations Matrix Commercial Supply Chain) to create robust project plans with realistic cost estimates risk strategies and delivery timelines.
• Enhance profitability by optimising designs and placing key subcontract agreements early in the process.
• Coordinate across internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of Civil & MEICA components.
• Join forces with preconstruction and operational teams for a seamless handoveronce projects kick off!
