Were looking for an Automation Engineer to join the Custom Engineer Life Cycle Management department at our site in Uppsala.
As an Automation Engineer you will be working in a quality focused dynamic environment in a team of 12 with long experience and deep knowledge of CE our products and customers.
You will be responsible for product care of products by keeping track monitor support and coordinate activities changes and improvements for those products.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Be part of the Change Control Board (CCB) core team and responsible for activities associated with change requests (ECRs/ECOs) for existing predefined and configurable product offerings. You will make investigations suggest solutions and implement approved changes.
Engaged in all phases of life cycle management and sustaining engineering including planning design development documentation test supplier interfaces manufacturing and service support
Participate in technical reviews meetings and collaborative technical forums with customer projects
Involved in standardization activities for CE custom products
Address cases from customers complains with insight and address the needs
You will make use of your strong collaboration skills working in cross functional project teams and engage in all phases of life cycle management and sustaining engineering including planning design development documentation test supplier interfaces manufacturing and service support
Key responsibilities in this role include:
Participate in technical reviews meetings and collaborative technical forums
Involved in standardization activities for CE custom products
Address cases from customers complains with insight and address the needs
Coordinate with different team members or other disciplines the implementation of the changes and improvements for the product.
Actively participate in improvement forums and activities to further develop or support different roles within the organization
The essential requirements of the job include:
BSc in Automation Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience in Rockwell and Siemens platforms.
Wide regulatory knowledge about safety of machinery.
Experience in UNICORN controlled systems is desirable.
Experience in industrial field bus technologies.
Knowledge of industry and/or academic practices and standards related to structural analysis finite element analysis and structural verification testing.
Professional level English skills both written and oral. Fluency in Swedish is a great advantage.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience and knowledge in automation engineering establishing requirements specifications and writing technical reports.
Experience in AutoCAD and EPLAN software.
