Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Events Assistant and Wedding Coordinator for the Square.

Part of Quarter the Square is an exquisite venue combining an exclusive private members club fine dining restaurant cosy cocktail bar and gorgeous secret garden. The Square is also one of the most sought after event spaces in the city playing host to an wonderful range of private events weddings and other celebrations in a sumptuous artsy setting.

With the support of the Private Events and Wedding Manager our new Events Assistant and Wedding Coordinator will be involved in weddings and private events from the planning through to the event itselfand will play a key role in providing a welcoming service to our valued members and guest and ensuringthat the Squares reputation for excellence is upheld!This position offers 38 hours per week and will involve some evening and weekend work on rotation.

Key information for the Events Assistant and Wedding Coordinator position:

Salary: 26154 per annum package. This package comprises a basic salary of 24292.85 per annum (based on 38 hours per week pro rated from the full time salary of 26850 per annum) plus 1861 per annum in service charge (paid monthly)

Hours: Close to f
ull time 38 hours per week working to a rota including a good deal of daytime work but with evenings and weekends worked into the schedule to allow you to work on some events

What youll be doing as Events Assistant and Wedding Coordinator:

  • Assisting the Private Events and Wedding Manager with all events administration the Square diary and enquires: responding to enquiries arranging showarounds booking a range of private events and weddings
  • Assisting in the running of events on the day including team briefings set up working the event (including food service taking orders etc) and/or handing over to the bar/kitchen
  • Acting as the wedding coordinator for specified weddings
  • Responsible for attending to all club members ensuring they are greeted well and taking orders as needed
  • Responding to guest or member enquiries and complaints according to company procedures
  • This role will involve working evenings and weekends on a rota basis
